On vacation in Italy, American couple Louise and Ben, with their daughter Agnes, meet and befriend free-spirited British couple Paddy and Ciara and their son Ant. Back home in London, Louise and Ben row over Ben's lack of a job and Louise's lack of fidelity to the marriage. Out of the blue, Paddy and Ciara invite the family to their remote rural farm house. They decide to go, hoping the change of scenery will be good for them and for Agnes who sufers with anxiety.
Arriving at the farmhouse, Louise, Ben, and Agnes are warmly welcomed but as time goes on, they begin to grow unnerved by strange incidents and passive-aggressive behavior from their hosts. One shocking revelation follows another, with plot twists that will keep you on the edge of your very comfortable Alhambra seat! Definitely order a double before going in... if you're over 18, of course!
