Welcome to the 2026 Keswick Film Festival

This year sees the annual Keswick Film Festival take place from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd

March.

The festival is Cumbria's premier cultural cinema event - and is one of the friendliest events in the

county.

Based at the Keswick Alhambra Cinema in Keswick town centre, films are also shown at the

Theatre by the Lake in Keswick and at Rheged (which is near Penrith and is a short drive or bus

journey away).

The festival is run entirely by volunteers from Keswick Film Club who are dedicated to bringing

audiences the best of international and independent cinema. We hope you will join us for the

opportunity to see exceptional films, many of which are pre-release or hard-to-find in the region,

with many titles showing unique within the UK.
