MOVIE MASTERPIECES THROUGH THE DECADES: THE 2000s
Max Newsom, film director, script writer, producer and film lecturer, continues his series of talks on film masterpieces of the 1920's - 2000's, with the following dates:
Tues 25th June - 1970's
Each lecture includes short clips from movies of the era, a short recap of the previous decade's main contributions to the developing form, as well as an outline of the contemporary political and social issues.
After each talk, there will be a short, 15-min break, complementary tea and biscuits, then a presentation of a classic film from the decade disussed.
