PRIVATE HIRE

Private hire is a great way to celebrate a special occasion or to get a group of friends or family together to watch a film of your choice.

Our studio Screen 2 seats 28 people plus one wheelchair and is the popular choice for private hire.

The cost ranges from £150 to £320, depending on how many people you bring, what day and time you chose and which film you watch.

We charge £9 per person subject to a minimum venue hire of £100 (so you pay £100 for up to 11 people, and then £9 a head per person over that number), plus an admin/film licence fee of between £50-£250 depending on the film (licencing an archive film costs significantly more than a current film we already have on our system).

For under 16s the price includes popcorn and a soft drink.

Refreshments can be purchased at the cinema kiosk; we do not permit food or drinks to be brought into the cinema.

If you have a larger event in mind, please talk to us about the options for hiring the main auditorium, which has a capacity of up to 157 plus two wheelchairs.

Please give us as much notice as possible as we typically programme the cinema two to three weeks in advance. Private hire at shorter notice may still be possible, but only if it doesn’t clash with our already published film screenings.
