Laugh out loud funny, this is a grown up comedy about relationships, both emotional and physical.
Joe and Angela’s marriage is in the doldrums. When Angela invites their enigmatic upstairs neighbours for a dinner party, the night spirals into unexpected places. Have they reignited the spark or lit the match that burns it all down?
Soufflé is on the menu but there's much more than that on the table in this deliciously entertaining ensemble comedy with its intense dinner conversations between two very different couples.
Watching the appearance of polite normaility evaporating as the evening goes on is brilliantly excruciating, each of the four very different, and very believable, characters is a joy to watch as the facades of their normality collapse step-by-step during the dinner.
Excellent performances from Seth Rogan, Olivia Wilde, Penelope Cruz and Edward Norton make this an electrifying watch and leave us asking ourselves whether to what extent we remain open to new experiences.
