Don't You Know
World Premiere
Last summer, my family traveled to Bristol,
UK, for my sister’s graduation. Behind the laughter lies the unaddressed
dilemma of her future: my father, a returnee from Hong Kong's 1997 immigration
wave, wants to keep her close, while my sister, a Gen Z raised in Western
culture, yearns for a life far from home. Using found footage and travel clips
spanning decades, this film offers the audience a glimpse into a 20-year-long
love-hate relationship shaped by Hong Kong's migration wave.
Boxing Day
International
Premiere
On a normal, boring workday, Nurse Cecily
follows her favorite patient Ahno's boxing match on the radio after he is
discharged from the hospital, while caring for the other patients in her own
special way: the one who drinks behind the nurse's back, the couple who
secretly date, the one who hit the wall out of desperation, the one who leave
cute stickers and blood stains on their beds... As Ahno's match approaches,
Cecily's worries surface; until a Mercury Man comes to her afternoon dream with
wounds that grows dandelions...
