TICKETS AND PASSES
Seating and QR Code Scanning
All seats at all venues are sold on an unallocated basis so you will not be able to pick specific seats. When the auditorium is ready for the screening, the audience will be let in on a first come first served basis. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the advertised start time to allow all patrons to be seated promptly.
To gain entry to a screening you will need a QR code per person which will be scanned on entry. You will receive your QR code by email when you book a seat online or over the phone. There's no need to print this out, as long as you can show the QR code on your phone we'll be able to scan it (beware there are many areas around the venues where you might find mobile signal patchy, so best download the email and QR code in advance. For tickets bought in person at the Keswick Alhambra Cinema kiosk the QR code will be printed on the paper ticket.

Festival Pass
If you are attending the festival to see multiple films, you can instead buy a Festival Pass which entitles you to book 13 films and events:
£ 90.00 Adults
£ 75.00 Members of Keswick Film Club (select a full price pass, discount is applied at checkout)
£ 40.00 Under 18s or Students Under 30 (please bring your ID when collecting tickets)
The Terry Abraham event at Rheged at 11.00am on Sunday 22nd March requires a £10 supplement when booked as one of the films on a Festival Pass.
Purchasing a Festival Pass enables you to book tickets for up to 13 films and events at no charge on a first come first served basis. You can create your own festival programme and be assured of entry to your chosen films.
You can use your allowance of 13 to book tickets at any time; they don’t all need to be bought immediately. However, some films are likely to be very popular and early booking is advised.
If you decide instead to take your chances, you can use any of your allowance of 13 to purchase a ticket at a venue up to 15 minutes before the start of the film.
There will be a stand-by queue for all films. If there are seats available, or if tickets have been returned and space becomes available, passholders will be given priority.
This year you will only be able to buy one pass per transaction, and you'll be required to provide a unique email address for each pass that you purchase. This is to enable smooth management of films you then choose using your pass as we need to be able to identify who has tickets for each film.
Locations
The festival is spread across three locations. Please check carefully where your chosen films are screening. Whilst the festival is based at the Keswicvk Alhambra Cinema and some of the films are shown there, films also screen at Rheged (near Penrith) or at the Theatre by the Lake in Keswick.
Please therefore take travel times into account.
There will be a shuttle bus between Keswick and Penrith which is designed around the timings of the Sunday screenings at Rheged. Places are limited and details of timings and how to find the bus will be available nearer the time.
Making Changes to your Booking
If you decide not to see a film you have booked please let the Keswick Alhambra Cinema team know so that the place can be freed up for someone else to enjoy. To do this, you can either reply to your booking email, pop into the cinema in person or call the cinema box office on 017687 72195. Please note that the cinema staff may be dealing with customers and so unable to answer your call straight away.
