LOCATIONS AND TRANSPORT

The festival takes place across three venues, two in Keswick and one near to Penrith. Please take care when selecting films that you've accounted for the travel time between locations.

Keswick Alhambra Cinema

36 St John's Street, Keswick CA12 5AG

keswickalhambra.co.uk

The Keswick Alhambra Cinema is in the town centre, a short walk from the main square. Head out of the top left exit from the square (next to The Royal Oak Hotel) then follow the blue walking signs 100m up to the cinema.

Arriving at the Keswick Alhambra Cinema by Car

There is no car parking at the cinema, and the streets immediately around the cinema have double yellow lines. Parking is available across Keswick and is well signposted as you arrive in the town. The nearest public car parks are Bell Close, Central and Otley Road, but there are plenty of other car parks in Keswick and they typically have more spaces available at busy times.

Payment can be made in the central Keswick car parks by cash and by payment cards or using the Mi Permit parking app.

Theatre by the Lake

Lakeside, Keswick CA12 5DJ

The Theatre by the Lake is a five minute walk from Keswick town centre. Follow the blue signs for the lake.

Arriving at the Theatre by the Lake by Car

Lakeside Car Park is adjacent to the theatre and contains 235 parking bays, 14 disabled spaces and 4 coach bays. Payment can be made in the car park by cash and by payment cards or using the Mi Permit parking app.

The car park is extremely busy, particularly for matinee screenings with visitors to Derwentwater, Hope Park and Keswick town centre as well as the theatre. We advise planning in advance and arriving in plenty of time. There are plenty of other car parks in Keswick, and the Rugby Club operates a car park that is just a short walk from the theatre.
