IF YOU WERE ONLY GIVEN A FEW MONTHS TO LIVE, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH THEM?
A Life In Tandem is a 96 minute feature documentary, telling the extraordinary true story of Luke, who was diagnosed with incurable stage 4 cancer aged 24. Given months to live, he sets off on a 20,000 mile cycle from Bristol to Beijing - on a tandem. Yet before this, in his first round of chemotherapy, he loses his brother, John, in a climbing accident.
He leaves his old life crumbling behind him as he cycles with over 800 people across the world - from the Indian schoolboy who'd had cancer as a child to the Ukrainian pastor in the last days of peace in Mariupol. During this journey Luke rebuilds his strained relationship with his Mum and shows the world that even with cancer, anything is possible.
We're honoured to have Luke Grenfell-Shaw join us to take questions for this special once only showing of his inspirational film at the Keswick Alhambra. All profts will go to charities Young Lives versus Cancer and Move Against Cancer.
