On the precipice of adulthood, teenagers converge at a traditional folk high school in Arctic Norway. Dropped at the edge of the world, they must rely on only themselves, one another, and a loyal pack of sled dogs as they all grow in unexpected directions.
We've booked this having seen it as it's emotionally powerful, beautifully shot in the Arctic Circle, and because we love to see dogs being well loved and cared for, and the humans around them to be so impacted by their presence. If that sounds appealing we're sure you'll like this as much as we did. It's a very lovely film and perfect for these wintry days.
“Folktales is not only magical and warm, it’s also a bracing interlude of good cheer.”
The Wall Street Journal
"Dog lovers shouldn’t miss this one. Honestly, no one should.
