National Theatre Live: A Streetcar Named Desire (15)
We couldn't be more excited to have our favourite ever NTLive production back on the screen at the Alhambra. It was sold out back in 2014 and we couldn't get theatre tickets for it, so went to see it at the cinema, our first experience of NTLive, and it was astounding.
You can see what a great actor Gillian Anderson is in intense close-up as the camera captures even the wrinkles around her eyes as she plays the emotional car crash that is the Blanche DuBois character. The camera makes you feel the emotions she goes through in a way that's even more electrifying that the live theatre audience may have experienced.
