Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy

Bridget's back in Keswick in the fourth of the series of Helen Fielding's brilliantly observed frivolous, frothy and fun films about one of our favourite characters.

Now a widowed mother of two in her fifties, Bridget Jones feels lost in the world of app-based dating. However, romance unexpectedly sparks with her son’s science teacher… and a much younger man.

This time there's also more depth. The characters (and the actors playing them) have all matured and so have we with them. Bring tissues, this is feelgood and unexpectedly moving at the same time.

Look out for shots of Bridget's visit to the Newlands Valley just outside Keswick where the film crew caused great excitement last summer.
